Events

We have many events throughout the year for fun and to raise funds for the children in our community.

This annual cornhole family activity and silent auction raises over $10,000 through our Foundation. These funds are distributed to local youth-oriented charitable organizations such as Community Table – Feeding the Future program, Ralston House, Mother’s Milk Bank, Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY), Second Wind, Hope House, Gigi’s Playhouse, and more. Our club sponsors a pancake breakfast at the Arvada Harvest Festival Parade. Funds raised through this event are used to support our donor organizations.

The Arvada Santa House has provided a holiday shop to local families since 2006. Originally sponsored by Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY), our Club has been the lead group in organizing this event and took over management of the project in 2022. Monetary donations from community members and organizations and donations of new toys support this effort. Selected Arvada elementary schools reach out to families in need to participate in this free holiday shop where parents and guardians select toys, stuffed animals, books, stocking stuffers, and a coloring book and crayons for each of their children 12 years and younger. Our club enjoys contributing to our community as well as enjoying each other’s company. We have many social events throughout the year.
